I got my confirmation today from starlink on shipping and a fedex shipping label has been produced. Soon can track my delivery and get this thing working.
There is enough people in Alberta getting over 150mbps it really peaked my interest.I can now pre-order it too but I'm going to wait for your reviews of it
I'm going to wait for a little while as I would like to be able to take the system to the lake. Right now this is not an option from what i have read, but maybe available in the future.

With the Telus hub I was already paying $100 per month for 25mbps(clamped) and 1 TB.
So for $30 a month I am getting internet that is 6x faster and no data limit.
I just got my email invite, my questions are; does the cost of the hardware include installation/ setup? With my Shaw satellite, if I have an issue with the hardware it’s replaced for free, does starlink do this as well?
I haven’t clicked on the link yet, as it says you only have a 15 minute window to complete the signup once you start. I’ll maybe have to call them tomorrow and see if they can enlighten me
I'm more curious to see what actually happens when they get all these subscribers online if the speeds are going to go down or not......
Uptime is key for me, there are two of us working from home, I need to be sure that we can be online 8-4 Monday through Friday.
Just ordered, Telus wants to raise my fee 5 bucks for the same craptacular service unless I sign for two years.....
Stuck in California, guess I won’t get too excited
