Not looking good….I applied and sent in my deposit back in November. About a month ago I got an email from them asking to confirm my rural address and change it from the blue sign number to a latitude and longitude location using their satellite map. Did that and have heard nothing since…..

That's really slow. Is the spot you have the dish the exact same address you used to sign up with?

You bet, I haven’t seen anything faster than 45 mbps. I thought maybe I had some debris in the dish as it points almost straight up, but it’s clear. I’m going to try a reset and see if that improves anything

Our 5300 Asus router gave us similar results. There are technical settings on the router that interferes with the unfiltered speeds. Are your slow speeds on the Starlink router?

Yes, that speed test was while I was connected to the StarLink router

Maybe if Bezos spent less time telling the world what Musk shouldn't do, and more time focusing on what he should do, he'd have a successful space company.

Until then he should just keep ensuring my Amazon gets delivered on time.

I’m not an IT guy but form what I have read using a second router after the star link router can cause network problem. (Double NAT)?

use the star link router or your own. But with your own you can’t get stats.

Not overly impressed so far, just north and west of St. Albert , it’s been pretty spotty for the past couple weeks. No obstructions, clear view to the heavens.

All depends what you started with. 8 is still 8 times better than my best tests before Starlink.

but my shat actually works now! The numbers go up and down. If something fails to load, usually if you count to 10 it probably will next attempt. I stopped looking at the numbers because it just works, (for us).
