Stalls going into reverse

When I put my 2013 skidoo summit into reverse a lot of the time it stalls out. Any ideas why??

I had a ptek doing that. Low compression

When I thought my dragon was about to blow up I always tried reverse. If it died you better fire it up and head for the truck as it was on the way out.

You take the ring gear off to lighten the clutch up? They won’t go into reverse without the ring gear. Or at least my ptek wouldn’t

Haven’t done anything with the ring gear. Sounds like a rebuild coming up.

I had one that did that It was Phu*ed 90psi on one side. Time for an engine

Ok. Thanks. The belt tension looks to be good. Will do a compression test this week.

My 19 X had 90lbs both sides and reverse always worked which really shocked the techs at my dealer.Doo warranted the top end with 4700 km
