Spring Riding. Sledding in the water.

pin it and keep the skis in the air, only touch down to turn or stop. :d if its more than 1 km of dirt, i will turn around and head back. I knew a guy years back that rode some thin snow in the morning (about 4-5") on a low valley road with no elevation gain, when he got back in the afternoon it had all melted. Ran 8 kms of dirt back to the truck, burnt up the sliders, toasted the skis right down to the spindle bottoms, ruined the track, etc. It was a good lesson to learn at someone else's expense. Sleds are not meant for dirt roads....lol


ya very true if its fresh snow it will be gone by the end of a warm day for sure...

You have to reach that 8inch thick ice type stuff for sure....

This was last year after we got the truck stuck in a shady spot. It was about 2 more kms to snow so away we went. I needed new carbides this fall though, not sure why?

My temp light didn't even come on. Was a great day of riding in the end.

Water around here wasn't running much this past week. Looking for a good wet area to take pics this week. :)
