Not sure where all you guys live but if you're buying sleds in Bc and living in Alberta, that seems like a bit of a douche move, but that's just my opinion. Why not buy local? Support the AB economy, wtf has BC done other than try to sewer AB for the last 5 years? Plus if you need parts or warranty where are you gonna go? Probably your local dealer

How about us BC guys that buy in Alberta and haul back there for warranty cause we don't have a local dealer worth ****. Does that make us douches FFS. It's a free world...buy whatever you want where ever you want. Guess we support the Alberta economy too.

Sorry Bobsledder, I shouldn't have painted all of Bc with the same orange brush, I know there's still good people like you out there it's just frustrating that small local dealers are struggling on both sides of the border and even shutting down while these guys with money think it's cool to spend their money at a dealer on the island.

I support my sales guy. Bought from him at 3 different locations now. As BRP moves away from the small local shop to the big box stores it feels more like vehicle dealerships. People will shop different towns for the best price but go to the local dealer for warranty. The manufacturer expects their dealer network to deliver that and they should. It isn't the consumer forcing the small shops out, it is the manufacturer doing that.

I haven't dealt with the people from the island but I think it's weird a power sports dealership can survive in the land of Elizabeth May and that the local dealership in this area hasn't cried foul to the manufacturer for delivering into their sales area.

Is it worth saving a few hundred dollars and not supporting your local dealer? My dealer gives me great service and product support, I would think that if I went down the street and bought a sled I would not have that local dealer support.

Some guys have to travel no matter what. So if there is no local option then sometimes it's a road trip no matter what. May as well look for the best deal at that point.

is martins doing the 50% off one time purchase this season?

Not sure, no mention of it yet.

Put the deposit down today, I ordered the expert, black/grey/red Added the rear bag and a skid plate. Got a decent price from Martin Motor Sports. I support them as they give me good service and sales support.

Dealers have complained. BRP just turns a blind eye. It’s all about numbers in this business. That’s all they are interested in.

That's a huge incentive if it's a standing deal. I know a lot of places it's only at the time of pick up; or for a short period of time.

It’s until time of pickup for me but I mean belts oil might as well load up

For central north Saskatchewan guys I have had the best sales and service with Chris. Dealership formerly known as Norsask now Redhead power sports in North Battleford.

I know Tom at the dealer in 100 Mile house is a good guy for anyone who lives in that area. Bought 3 motorbikes from him, and he is a doo dealer to. Little tiny shop right beside the hwy, called Performance something or other.
Years ago RTR in kamloops was good, then Craig sold it, and it went into the crapper for customer service. Maybe the worst doo dealer on earth is in Prince George. I have a bunch of relatives up there, they all shop out of town because they can't stand them. I was actually in that dealer a couple of summers ago looking at a new KTM as they used to sell KTM bikes to. The sales douche flat out lied to me, I told him to pound sand and left. Not sure why it is so hard to find a good KTM dealer, but I have driven to Kelowna for my last 6 KTM bikes, because they actually understand customer service.

For the best pricing arround I strongly encourage you to at least try Gateway SS in Rocky Mountain House. I know that's where I'll be spending my money, great prices, great people and great service. Call Jenna at 403-845-2421, she'll give you a price UNDER MSRP, waive the freight and pdi and that's it, plus GST, NO BS, so for what most dealers are asking before GST, you're out the door, that's a solid g-note in savings, and on top of that, she'll give you 15% off any accessories you order with it, good luck finding a better deal than that and it's rite here in central AB.

Another 165T Expert for Gateway plus way to much accessories to capitalize on the 15%. Great deal and awesome people.

Courtney was same price, they decided to stick with gateway as it was closer to red beer

I buy off my friends first since I roll this way,,, 40 +++ years with the T for me...

They have gone out of their way to gain my trust and are family friends of ours since 1920 on the ball azz prairies of Alberta before they went into the power sports industry...

I never tell anyone where they should spend their funds since im not in others shoes...

But I do mention that it's wizer to get to know who is going to back you up """if""" a situation comes up...

Making a true friend ship goes both ways,,, input from both sides is key,,, if you find this friend that is true blue,,, they will always be their when we need them most...

Again,,, we make good of us to them as they do good for us,,, a win win in my books...

Good luck finding what works,,, thats what really counts...

Cheers from the Lamb Lem
