My spark plug wire assembly pooped the bed so I have the new parts. Never really done anything electrical on my sled before. Is this going to be easy? Anything I should look over while I have my baby apart?

Going to do it this weekend/week.

By new assembely do you mean the coil and everything or just the wires and caps?

Just new wires and caps.

If its your first time Rowdy be prepared to have an extra keeper around as they can break easily. Pull your old wires/keeper assy out of your coil first. Measure the length of the wires protruding from the keeper. Now install the new keeper on the new wires carefully with some dielectric grease for slickum purposes. Now push the wires into your coil receptacle at the same time and if you've measured properly they should bottom out just as you hear the keeper click into its place. Make sure the wires are installed in the same place as the old ones as they are different lengths and made to fit without to much sag. If you do this the first time perfectly then drive to a shop and apply for the head mechanic position as you would be surprised how many techs come back to the parts guy for another keeper. Lol. Good luck!
