Wouldn't mind coming up north to do some riding but I'm wondering if there is anything worth riding in Southern MB? Maybe around Winnipeg but we might be willing to go a LITTLE further if there is something else within reason. We would be coming from SW Minnesota so we are tying to keep our travel time to a minimum.

If we come up it wont be till summer or so. Do we still need a "snopass" at that time? Or is snopass the same thing as a state license?

When I used to live in MB we would quad almost to the USA boarder by a town called piney, its on google maps. I just can't remember where we would stage, it was somewhere off the Number 1 hwy east of Winnipeg though, ill ask my old man and see if he can remember....this was ten years ago.....

Snopass is for winter sledding as far as I know, and for area's only that require them, there are many areas in southern MB that need them though, but thats for winter....you may need licence plate and proof on insurance and your drivers licence though. As far as I remember the law in MB wasn't as strick and present as here in Alberta...to be honest I never saw cops at all...might have just been lucky though....

best bet is to go with someone how knows the way, there must be someone in MB area you can hook up with for a weekend of quading / camping / beer....

When are you maybe going? I am bringing my quad to MB for a week or weekend in the summer to quad with some buddies, just not sure yet where we'll go....we usually go south east area close to the "Manitoba Mountains" lol, riding and duck moutains...but thats getting to be a distance for you.....
