Will they be as easy to steal as the others??
I liked my old '97 Ford but I think it had the same technology in it as the 2010 Ford fleet.....I will never go back to Ford as long as every douche with a screwdriver and a piece of string can hotwire the truck and drive off with it and the toys in tow.

From 2008 Ford trucks have had the chipped key, there not as easy to steal as the previous years. And also ALL the 3 big manufactures have issues with the door handles. And you can just poke a screwdriver through and unlock the door.

The new 6.7L Diesel is built by Ford themselves, it has been going through alot of testing for a few years allready. Halliburton has been testing these for them as well as way up North in the arctic as well.

I agree and wont buy on the first build but I'll order one next spring.

$60 to $70k for a truck!!! Yikes. That used to get you a fully loaded V10 limited truck.

For that kind of money I would buy and old truck and see an Astin Martin in my garage....

Wait two years and pick one up with 20 000 miles for $32000. $50 000 saving seems pretty good to me.

Not quite, but I see where you are going. I am looking a 2 year old truck, and a King Ranch with 20,000 miles is closer to double that.

I belive that the 6.7 motor is based off the 7.3, could be interesting to say the least. The 7.3 was a strong motor as far as V8 diesels go.

This is a completely different design built by FORD not INTERNATIONAL. the 7.3,6.0,6.4 were all built by international with a fuel injection system that was a joint venture with Caterpillar. Yes Cat had a hand in it. Check HEUI fuel injection................

Over tested to remove the warranty issues that are paramount in an ongoing lawsuit with international.

It will be interesting to see how it does and how fast we can bypass the emissions crap!!! 6.4 took a bit to make it work with a straight pipe without throwing codes.

I will be involved with the guinea pigs in Fort st john, i will keep you all posted.

i wonder what the harley 450 will be? almost $90,000 or more? Shitttt, i think i would rather spend $70-80 on one than $60-70 on a gas tundra.
