Well it sticks out about 12" past my bumper...
and it is at eye level. I never saw it happen or even saw the guy. My truck was parked in a parking lot.

He just walked right behind my truck and smoked it.. LOL

His buddy was taking pictures and said that the guy had to go to the hospital... He wants to have me charged because it was sticking out of the back of my truck.
I told him it has marker lights, and that he shouldn't text and walk at the same time...
I would like to know which hospital he went to, so I could send him a get well card, and a helmet..HAHA:eek:

12" isn't bad at all, idiots shouldn't be walking so close. I had mine that was 18" and I couldn't believe how many people I seen nearly hit it. Actually, I did have one person who said they were threatening to phone the cops when they hit it. I told them to go ahead waste their time to tell you your a idiot. Sad part was, they were walking down my alley, and my deck was still INSIDE my driveway and they tried to say it was my fault.......Ya it was in the dark, but that's what you get for walking on my property!

I'd send them a card that said "If your going to be dumb, you better be tough!"

The only argument they may have is if you were backed in and the deck was overhanging a sidewalk. I almost lost my juice when I read that though!

Hahahaha........similar happened to me quite a few years ago. I park my truck in front of the shop along side the curb. One of the tire distritubor courier drivers was dropping off some tires and he park right beside my truck and through the tires out behind my truck, then he was gonna bring them into my shop. The last tire, he picked up and wham, got the corner of my old sled deck across the bridge of his nose, and there was blood everywhere. We bandaged and cleaned him up a bit, and he said he knew it was there, and just misjudged it. He had 8 stitches across his nose, and he has healed up okay since........ Dam, that must've hurt!!!!

Hahaha wtf why was he shooting you angry glares he put the boards their.

My one friend was chasing her dog and just smashed the side of her head into the sled deck. Totally got pissed about how much it hurt, just gotta pay attention. I've rammed my shin into a few hitches but never my head into a sled deck *knock on wood*.

My wife came around the corner of my truck and whammo...nailed the edge of my deck with her forehead. The sad part is that it doesn't stick past my tailgate any more than 3". She gave me sh!t it. Ruined a perfectly good day for both of us.

I've had two people walk into my deck.

First one was at the dealership while I was getting one of those "quick" oil changes the kid that was up top adding the oil went to the back of the truck for some reason and then when he went to walk around the passenger side he closelined himself on the wing sticking out. I felt something while I was sitting in the truck. Then about 5 min. later I look in my side mirror and see 4 people from the dealership standing over the kid trying to help him up. I guess it knocked him out cold for a couple seconds.

Second one was while I was at work and my truck was parked. The shipping girl was walking very slowly (cus thats how she walks) arcoss the parking lot while looking down at the ground and kicking rocks when all the sudden she sees a shadow on the ground of something (the wing of my deck) so while still walking see lifts her head to see what it was and walks right into my deck, cuts up her pretty lips and knocks out some chicklets.

Windy day, head down and I nailed my STF deck, put me to my knees, but no blood.
The wife walked into it twice, sold that deck for that reason, always worried about parking at malls, etc.
Funny thing is I got up quickly and looked around to be sure no one seen the mishap, wouldn't want to look stupid...LOL

I've had several people walk ito my deck and ya, spout off about calling a lawyer, cops, whatever. Tell them to stop stareing at their feet when they walk. Similar with people walking into the hitch when I leave it in. I think these are the same people that walk into light posts.
