i have the metal style super clamp ! like one of the first ones built :) it works awesome !! but i know someone that builds ramps ... and i always asked him why he had a pile of broken super glides in the corner ? he said no good too brittle, so unless u have change yer material then mabey they are better ?
Are you sure they are superglides Willy? There are knock off imitations out there and I know with all the home grown meds you are on that you are easily confused.

I have them on the ramp of my enclosed and they suck. Randall I hope you are reading this thread cause you need to revamp this design. My clamps work great but my glides are terrible. Maybe changing the color might help, there is way to much expanding and contracting. Just my opinion..

Changing the color may help, what, What does that have to do with expanding and contracting. All Plastic ski glides expands and contracts, maybe you did not know that. Why Should we revamp the design, they work fine for thousands of satisfied customer all around the world, and if you think they suck, call me and tell me why 1-403-203-2210

He's saying they attract to much heat...but that doesn't matter if they are installed properly. The design allows for that. Thee only color change that would help would be white. And no thanks lol. Many years running super glides no issues.

Superglides in 3 family enclosed trailers, 1 flatdeck, and 2 sled decks. No Issues at all. I think iv lost the occassional screw on the trailer doors, but big deal replace it before you lose more and the glide remains well intact. 1 of the enclosed trailers could use a few new superglides now that it is about 4-5 seasons old, and thats because of the aggressive skis my brother and co. use.

The only problem I have ran into isn't exactly fault of the super glides.. I have them on top of the sled deck too and when the deck sides are in you are standing on them, and as its winter theres snow on top, they are slippery. To cold start my sled (or have a chance of that) I need to be standing next to my machine one foot on and one foot off.. slippery deck I cant trust my footing to give full on pull lol But decks that are plywood I find slippery too. So when rolling solo, all i do is roll the sled off the deck and start it on the ground. big whoop. and yaa yaa im in the gym tryin to get stronger so i can stand on the sled to cold pull haha

All you guys that are having problems, work with Randall. He is a great guy and stands behind his products.

Maintenance is key: if screws fall out, replace them; if the spacers fall out, replace them; if a piece breaks off, replace it! This isn't rocket science and it is a ramp. I use mine 50-100 rides a year and they are awesome!

The SuperClamps are also a great bang for the buck. How can one not like those better than all the friggin' straps......drive on, snap the Clamp shut and you're done!

Keep up the great work Randall!

thank you, some guys just dont get it do they. Cheaper is not always better. cheap people pay twice
I would usually agree except that I ponied up the the $120 for your 8 pieces of plastic and now a bunch of them are broken in half or have the screw holes torn out. Now it is not totally the products fault as my rung spacing sucks but some of them were wrecked while using them in the proper manner.

I see some ramps have the superglides cut into 3 or 4" strips and do not span from rung to rung....it looks good but does it work?

I don't know what kind of skis the guys are using that are breaking off the heads of the screws on the outside edge of the SuperGlides, in our experince if you are running regular skis you have way less chance of knocking off the top of the screw head, if running Simmon skis you will snag the screw head with the carbide and knock the head off and there is nothing we can do about that.

the simmons flexi skis with dual carbides are the culprits that will bust off the screws or rivets..i have a set in my garage took them off and never had another one break.
