Have you tried riveting them on? Haven't had any issues with ours....

those super glides are like brittle plastic ! no good . use some plexy glass or a better type of plastic 0.o and keep yer bolt holes closer is the edge ...

Read the thread, he is not having trouble with materials. He is breaking the heads off the screws..............

Is everyone using a plywood backing for the glides on there ramps and screwing into that? or are you guys screwing right into the rungs of the ramp? if you didn't want to use wood I also though you could weld an 8 inch wide thin gauge aluminum plate on and rivet the glides to that...

Yeah I've torn a lot off the ramp. Either break the heads off or catch a lip of the glide. My rungs are spaced kinda awkwardly so I think I'm just going to use puck board or strips of bedliner.

why not just use a 1/4 in plywood backer, puck board on a ramp seems like an accident waiting to happen...

The nice thing about the superglides is you can walk up the glides with no fear of falling through the rungs and nutting yourself. Lol.

Build a set of skins for under your skis out of a couple crazy carpets? Was thinking about superglides, but not after reading this thread.
