The trouble with soda blasting is it's usually done in a cabinet or some other kind of recovery system. A jet-ski hull is getting fairly big to fit in a conventional blast cabinet. Walnut shells would work, so would sponge blast. However, using a sandblaster on a fiberglass substrate may not produce the best job. You would probably use a #4 or #5 nozzle at a low psi, so the blast pattern would be under 1",making it tough to blend properly. I would think you'd be better off doing it by hand with a good air orbital sander.

they do it all the time to remove the paint on fiberglass boats......not sand blasting.....soda blasting......does a nice job.......and it only will take an hour to do the jet ski......un like sanding with an orbital.......I used walnut sells years ago but I will pay someone in kelowna to do.....got a quote for $100 or less so far! not going to waste my time if he will do it for that price.
