So, what did I remove from here?

So, last year I’m pretty sure I took something off from here, under the hood. I didn’t think I tossed it but I must have.
What was here, held on by those three screws?

Just a plastic panel with some foam on it. I removed mine too and just laid down some metal tape.

Same. I laid down some fancy heat protection and will never think of it again.

I just happen to have a pic of mine handy. Looks like you just removed the foam piece like mentioned
