not much to say on JJ and that track non-bike looks like a freaking good time out here at the lake!
Did ya watch the show? That frame is all hand-bend, tig welded stainless. even the front forks are hand made stainless. PJ's bike, although interesting, still uses someone else's frame and he sent out both the front and the rear suspension to be built. As Jesse calls 'em: "cake decorators". LOL.
Actually I watch American choppers all the time. The frames they have are built by them, mass produced and stored at their facility in various styles for use at a later date or sent to there dealer network. Yes they do buy some aftermarket parts, if they see something trick that will work on there bikes but have you seen the equipment they have at there shops. Trust me if they have the time they can build anything they have to within reason( engines, Trannys, etc)Are they old school like JJ. No. They dont have to because of the volume of work they have on there plates. JJ is to busy going through women to have a successful business like they do. JMO.
Are you a fan of the so called "sled builders" who just bolt on parts?
