I went on a bike trip this long weekend, so my wife and son decided to go camping. I showed her how to hook up, un hook, park, etc in the drive way a couple times during the month. When the weekend came they did it all.

She sent this after they got all settled in. nice cozy spot.

My just turned 16yr old backed the rig in the driveway.

Did a bang up job!
We live at the end of a cul-de-sac. This is a tricky place to turn a rig around.
I am super proud of my family for taking this on, building confidence in themselves and learning these skills.
Now I can sit back and watch someone else do all the work!

Good on the family for taking it on. Looks like they did a bang up job.
My wife learned how to do all this this year as well. Hopefully she just leaves me at home , not leave me all together. Lol

That's awesome! I tossed my wife the keys to the truck a few long weekends when we went camping last year. Told her she needs to learn how to tow and I'll coach her from the passenger seat. She did great! Then she took the rig to Saskatchewan for a music fest with just her and her cousin. Truck and trailer came back unscathed so I can't complain!

We have an Itasca motorhome, tow the boat, quads, sleds with it, and the girlfriend drives it just as much as I do. When we need to chain up she does the one side, I do the other. She helps with loading up everything, hooking up the trailers, dumping the tanks, launching the boat, and everything else.

You have a great family, and it also says a lot about you nast70, some guys just refuse to teach their significant other, or kids anything, you're a good man!

Buddys wife took their 5th wheel camping. Got halfway and saw awning flopping up and down as wasn't locked properly. She pulled in a field to try and roll up but was wrecked so tore it off rest of way. Then she turned to sharp getting out of field and put big dent in cab from Fifth wheel. It was a quiet camping trip for all of us. Lol

My wife dented both sides of the mega cab backing up the 5th wheel..cant remember what year but I left the dents as a reminder for her lol.
