Pretty solid right now. No results in compression tests. 170cm base at 1,600 meters and well over 2 meters up high! We just need a refresh...hopefully this storm dumps 20-30 new.

probably the first ever pit I have seen on here
every day we see and hear about awesome snow conditions, but RARELY will someone post a pic of a pit they dug to check avy conditions

That's awesome to see a sledder do this, I've done this back woods skiing, but I love seeing sledders do this. An hours work is worth the info gathered from the snow, and it keeps you alive. Keep up the great work bro!!!

Some rounding facetts (that's good) above and below a few freeze/thaw layers (may or may not be good). It's going to be a busy year in BC this year from what I hear from the CAA...especially in the interior and Rocky's. There are deep buried rain crust layers province wide.

Time will tell. Please ride smart. You're friends and family want you to come home.
