Well Folks here we go again.
Another season of sledding finally arrives with
the addition of around 5 inches of snow here
at the Lake.
The ice is testing at around 15 plus inches and the north creek is about the same
stay away from the bridge its very thin in that area.
The open areas are wind blown so you have to ride around the rocks out on the Grazing reserve, but at least you can still see those A arm removers.
I was down to Hanmore lake area yesterday. Not bad conditions, nice 90 k ride.
So I feel I’m old enough to go ice fishing, built a comfortable shack
but at this point I call it surveillance
not fishing. Those little turds are hard to catch
If you see the shack out on the ice stop in. .
So our restart to winter begins this week, welcome to minus 20 and now we’re going to get some snow, finally. The year a 1978 skidoo Elan is going for $3500.00 would have never figured how crazy things have gotten. F...ing COVID.
Well hope you’re staying safe and healthy
See you on the trails
Don
