Good work S&R, things could end ugly without the support and training these guys/gals have, and the brass to go with it

Holy crap! What a story! The rescue was phenomenal. Between this story and the mine shaft one in Nelson, Canadians are fortunate for S&R.

Wishing for a speedy recovery for the guy.:beer::beer:

Did you read the comments under neath the article.........................jus' sayin'............ Friggin' greenies

What a bunch of chit on those comments. We have the same kind of hostel environment for riders around here too. Just a bunch of ignorant people that are told that snowmachiners are evil by conservation groups that have nothing better to do but spend money and point a finger.
Around here we have skiers making chitty decisions in the backcountry all the time and it hardly makes news. But when someone on a snowmachine gets into trouble... LOOK OUT! Here comes the media!!!
Just makes it even more important for all of us riders to represent ourselves well and make good decisions in the backcountry.
