Snowmobiler accident in Cold Lake

Anyone hear any news on this? Heard the guy hit an ice heave and may have passed away.
Nothing on the news.
My condolences to the family if it's true.
If this is true other people need to be warned about this.

haven't seen anything about it, bad deal if it's true. if you sled any lakes, you have to be aware of possible pressure ridges especially after the kind of winds we had last week. I've seen some huge ones out on Lac Cardinal, hitting one of those WFO would be a bad deal.

Driver passed away and passengar was hurt.
Funeral is today.

Sad but true. Gord was a very good friend to many. He will be missed. The funeral is today at 1:00 at the Cold Lake agriplex. I expect to see many of his friends there seeing him off on his final journey.
