For Sure...what Tex87 said. A lot of that crap going on. I'd contact Clarke's Freight ways. You'll need the weight and dimensions of the item to be shipped to get a quote. They've been really good for me for shipping stuff.

Contact a trucking company, get a freight quote. Then you can tell the seller who will be showing up at his door to pick up the sled. If it is a buddy he could meet the truck at a truck stop and load it on the trailer.

$800 thats alot cheaper than driveing your truck all the way there and back. I would try to talk to some car carrier companies i know the one i work part time for will throw sleds and quads on the trailer for a decent price but we dont go east.

look around, i dont remeber the site, but i got some stuff shipped out of the states, i went on a site and you post what you want shipped an the time line you have, and the companys will contact you will a price, you can shop for the best price, some trucks are not totaly full and will take it a better price, if there is room in the truck why not fill it. maybe someone one here knows the site. good luck

Give Caroline @ Chase International a call 905-612-8179. I use them for my domestic stuff that's too big to go UPS. I strongly reccomend staying away from Day & Ross...bunch of d!ck beaters.

whats the best way to ship a snowmobile from toronto to edmonton

Be careful, I've tried to buy sleds from the east...seller always has a BS story and will only communicate by email and wont talk on the phone...be very suspect.

If its all good ride it home save the shipping!

Have you thought about by rail. Had a car shipped from Vancouver 2 years back and only cost $150. Took a week but arrived in good shape.
