I bought a pair of heated boots from marks work warehouse, they stay dry and are light there a bit pricey but all in all a good boot.

I love my motorfist boots... They always make sure I have lots of time to visit at the cabin when I'm thawing my feet out and ringing out my socks... Good exercise too with them weighing so much more than my adrenaline's. Stick with klim.

I have MotorFist 2's and have ridden 2 seasons with them. Wear the proper socks and have no problem with sweat (and I have sweaty feet) and no problem with cold.
Trent, maybe do up your laces and quit spilling beer down your leg....problem solved....lol

Tapatalk....well I'm happy with you now....thanks for the fix.

"these boots keep me warm and dry while fixing my snowmobiles on the trailer in the parking lot while smoking my cigar and having Budweiser's"

lets hope this season is better for you?

Klim Radium GTX - 3 seasons so far. Never had a reason to try anything else since I bought these. Love that you can pull both the liner and insoles out to dry.
Day and night difference compared to my old boots. I would not hesitate to buy the same again. Very stiff boot and pretty sure these saved my ankle from more damage when I got hit a few years ago. If you have short legs, the back might dig into your calf muscle & take a bit to break in.

In all fairness, I was able to t at them for long periods of time while standing in the snow, real cold temp test, none of this "on the running board" testing....lol

I am on my 4th set of HMK boats in 13 years of riding. My favorite thing about them is the removable insole. Easy to dry. Feet sweat in them but never get cold or wet from snow. I went with the boa's because frankly laces are old fashioned. I'm the slowest guy to get ready so the BOAs speed that up a lot. My next set though I think im going to try the Motorfist Alpha boats . If its like any other of there products I know they will be amazing.

I have used a lot of different boots...here's my take on it. Spend the extra money and get something from a reputable company, you can't put a price on your feet. I've learned the hard way. Wet feet make for a very uncomfortable day. Make sure to purchase a high quality moisture wicking sock, this is just as important as your boot, and will allow the sweat to escape off your foot. If you wear wool or a cotton sock you will always have wet/damp feet I don't care what boot you are using.

Snowboard boots: they are exactly that, they are not made for sledding, and will not keep your feet dry, both from the outside and inside. I wore burton snowboard boots for years and refused to buy actual sledding boots. Until my feet shriveled up like prunes too many times. Was amazed how long they actually lasted though. Absolutely nothing left of the soles. I still have them

HMK: great boot, very pricy, work well, offer great ankle support, boa system works ok, be prepared to replace them yearly. 2 pairs a year if you ride hard. I quit using them after my 4th set in 2 seasons.

Motorfist stompers: great boot, keeps you dry, works well, replaceable sole, sweat actually escapes like they say. Doesn't offer enough ankle support for me.

Motorfist carbide dirt bike style sled boot: loved this boot, works awesome, offers
Great ankle support and you can get them super stiff, buckles worked well for me, only had one fail, and they sent a new pair no questions asked. Was a little warm but very happy with this boot. Unfortunate this boot is discontinued. If you can find your size don't hesitate on grabbing it. Once their gone they are gone.

I will be riding in the Motorfist Alpha Boa this year, had it on today, most comfortablest boot I have ever tried on, boa system is stronger then any other boa system available, put the boa clickers at the back and front instead of the side which should work well. Really excited for this boot, they have been in development for a few years on this boot and it has been tested thoroughly going to be hard to beat. Offers that support we need/want and super light. Warm but not too warm. Would have been nice to have some color options but not end of the world.

Klim...I don't have anything bad to say about them never interested me much, their boa system boot looks decent but it's the same boa system as HKM and FXR use, it's a not the best you can get like Motorfist is using.

Heard great things about the FXR as well again no first hand info on them.

Boa also stands behind their products. I've busted a knob on my boots, contacted the company and replacement parts were sent free of charge.

Where did you try the Alpha out? I didn't think they were for sale yet? Did you find a price in Canadian?

Browsing through Marks WW the other day and had a look at these

They were light and appeared to to well made. with removable liner. curious how they stack up to the major brands?
