Anyone have any clue as to what the hell cat is thinking with their snowmageddon pricing?

2020 165" Hardcore - $14,195

2021 165" Hardcore - $16,895

Both with a 1 Year Warranty
$700 Freight & PDI
+ GST

Seems the prices for snowchecking are creeping back up.

Last year I thought the prices made sense for the amount of warranty the sled came with, but now what's the incentive?

Other than its the only time you can buy one........

Maybe this will all make more sense after tomorrow's release.

Where did you acquire this information??
Stopped at the dealer today for parts, we were talking about the release tomorrow and he said he already had a price list and that you could place a order already.

So we compared numbers and I was a little shocked to say the least.

If it has a turbo it would not be that crazy

Well that would make more sense.

Otherwise it is just a 16% increase......

When the sidewinder came out it was $3000 higher than the vipers I paid $18500 in 2016 this price is $2700. No guarantees but with that much of a jump it will be something significant could be motor too I suppose.

Maybe it's time to get back to basics. When BRP introduced the Spark watercraft for under 10k they sold more of that model than all their other models combined. It was a huge hit and still is. No bells and whistles. Just performance and fuction. Watercraft and motocross bikes for the most part have hit there evolutionary limits and easier to reinvent. Sleds for some reason continue to evolve...a lot. The key is a good quality product for way less money. The volume will follow. Easier said then done with a sled though. Maybe Cat's shadow pics will be revealed as just that...

I think this jpmez69 guy secretly craves an Arctic Cat.Why else would he have the highest post count of anyone in the Cat section?

I still have too many flats of doolaid in the garage at home. Probably enough for a few nuclear winters to pass. If I'm ever going to come close to the total post count of some members... I have to stay on the Cat threads as there is soooo much material to cover. The doo, poo and that third company that i can't remember the name threads have all their problems solved.:d

That's a big jump and will send more buyers to Doo and Poo which have a more stable business. I think rumours about Cat's future have shaken buyer confidence with the Cats.
It dies have me a bit reluctant, that's for sure

Don’t worry gentlemen,Arctic Cat will be around for a long time!

I’m selling my 20 Hardcore come March and I will be snow checking a 21.

Arctic Cats new sales program will make it more affordable to do this every year.

I’m done with falling in love with my sled and spending countless dollars modding, from now on it’s out with the old and on with the new!

good strategy I have held on to some too long as well. Need to sell when the chassis is still pretty current and mileage is low, under 4000km

Meant as far as cat closing up shop and loosing warranty and parts
parts won't go away but warranty could be concerning. That said Cat isn't closing or they wouldn't have just had a sled release putting new stock in the system. They would have just wound down what was already built.
