Thinking about a snow bike this year but I'm wondering if I can keep up with the sleds on the trails? What kinda speeds can you maintain on the trails with one of these things ?

All depends on how big of a bike you have really. 650 Husaberg you can pull more gear than a 450. What kit? 2moto or Timbersled? One has a bigger track than the other so that will suck more power than the other. Haven't seen anyone breaking any speed records when we've been out with a few of them, but never had one out on a nice flat long straight trail either......

Have one forsale if your interested. 2008 KTM 530 with 570 big bore and all upgrades to match 2012 bike. Trail ported head and carb bored to 41 from 39 mills. All work done by Thumper racing. I ride with jrusher he has a yami 450 snowbike and i cant even see him on the trail hes gone.
I am pretty mellow on the trail I ride between 60-80 km/hr on the trail hes way faster then that.

this i would have to see all the 450's ive ridden were mutts and 3rd gear was pushin it your not doin 80k in 3rd gear ....well maybe but not for long
not calling you a B.Ser but just have a hard time seeing this. If your ever in revy P.M me i would live the chance to ride beside u and clock your speed
