It was a BIG turnout, lots of people, great movie, but a very poor location. We were sitting at the back. Only one server for that whole section, she worked her butt off, but just couldn't keep up. We couldn't hear when Tina was calling out the draw numbers as the music was still playing at the pool tables and the TV volume was just enough to mask her voice. For some reason we could hear Curtis perfect when he was talking.

With the late start to the movie, some of our group had to leave and missed it. With the low roof in the back, it was so loud and echoed so bad that our whole group left before the end of the movie. It might have been OK in the higher roof section at the front, but was killer where we were.

Were they selling the movie anywhere???? We looked around before the movie started, but couldn't see any for sale. Guess I will have to order it online or wait until the sled show to see the end:(

I did pick up the WINNING ticket for the Brad Story snowmobile draw!!!:d

This was a much bigger event than the last one at EDS, hopefully a better location next time.

Hey All,
we just wanted to say thanks for coming out last night for a great time at the THUNDERSTRUCK 9 premiere.
we did not know what to expect hosting the event this year and as a result we were caught with our pants down. due to the great turnout from all you crazy fans we were short staffed and paid the price.
we would like to thank you for your patiance and understanding.
BUT now that we know what to expect, next year we will be prepared for all you fans!!!!
thank you uturn for your comments, they will help alot for next year.
sound ,staff etc. (BTW glad you won something :).

from all the staff,
thanks and see you next year!!!

I was there with another Snow and Mud friend. We sat up at the bar and the service was not too bad given the beverage demand. The bathrooms had no towels to dry your hands for most of the event which was annoying. The movie volume was louder than confortable at our seats. Overall not a bad night. When the DVD stopped towards the end it was a pain when the speakers blasted the static out.

Thanks to everyone that showed up. :d I would agree it was a bit on the loud side, wasn't too bad in the front center, and were lucky the DVD player lasted, I guess there was only a few minutes left in the video. It was good to see everyone, a great turn out. Next time we'll have the sound fixed, and the other issues looked after.

Nice to see someone stand up and admit when they're "caught with our pants down" There were double the amount of people there that I thought would come. Staff was great considering the amount of people. Once you got the timing down (order four at a time) it was good. Over all well done!

I had "no idea" it was going to be that busy. Ron had called me and said it was crazy busy but the turn out far exceeded my expectations.

Busy and loud were the theme of the evening.
Thanks to Bo Diddley's for responding to that concern on the site.
Here are some more photos for those of you who didn't attend - sorry you missed out on such a great time.
