I only have 3 requests for this year.

#1: a map or something of the trail system so people can go find some decent trail riding on the first days there with some clue as to where they are going.

because last year guided rides never happened and a lot of people sat around instead of getting out and riding cuz they had no clue where they were going.

#2. I found the Trail ride / poker Rally just fine except the very last hill at the end where some people hurt themselves. perhaps we can avoid those kind of things this coming year all i can say is I'm really glad i didn't bring my sister with me because she is not a really great rider and would probably have hurt herself trying to avoid that hole at the bottom of that hill.

#3. maybe we can make up some benches for people to sit on out of logs this year rather than have 1000 camping chairs there and set them up so people can just walk up pick a spot to sit and BS ect.

wouldnt take much more than a chain saw and maybe 30min of time to do this.

other than that the food was good the area was good everything was good.

Leonard,

Thanks VERY much for your feedback.

#1. We will do what we can but I don't know of many people that have hand drawn maps. I will try to get some GPS ones and print them for you but thats about the best we can do. We will not do "organized" rides but any day that I'm riding you are more than welcome to tag along with us.

#2. Yes, that hill ended up being a bad idea, but hey hindsight is always 20/20. We will have a new rally course, and its already being drawn up/designed by our very knowledgeable expert who lives down there all summer long.

#3. The benches thing may not work out, the area where we have our fire/party is only used for us, it is a good suggestion and I'll bring it up with those who matter.

Once again I thank you for your feedback and also encourage anyone else with feedback to either post it here or email it to snowandmudjamboree@gmail.com

Thanks,

Tyler

Thanks everyone for the VERY positive feedback, it promises to be a great time again, hopefully with bathroom facilities closer to the party for the ladies.

Bigger rally, less dangerous last leg of said rally, and lots of good prizes, stories, big potluck dinner, and of course we'll try to get Yvonne from Extreme DJ back :)

The last leg was OK ......... this year maybe alternate routes would be good. Kinda like a ski run Black, Blue and Green! Just post direction signs and peeps can choose were to go. I still need to fix my quad from the that last hill lol.

I should be there this year and will most likely pull in early in the week and get our boy( sumx) to show me some trails. If this happens I will gladly take some of the not so extreme riders on this course as a guided tour if they would like. Not sure if I can do this legally as I am not a tour guide in Alberta, but if doing for no pay I think it should be fine.
and feed back is a very good thing if we can make it better and most of all, safe.

Except those mini razers .. wow do they get stuck out there. ended up helping someone whose kids sunk a brand new one last year.. well sorta. it was more something got in the fuel line but it was definitely way out of its element on those trails thats for sure kept getting high centered when it did run.

but pretty much everything else was fine on the trails. dirt bikers , quads , UTV's , i think i even seen a trike there once.

Trying to avoid that quagmire dude...... figure if he waits there is a better chance for a conflict in schedule.....
