Water Valley....Gone from McMurray!!!
u guys looking for drug smugglers. Its cutts cabins also. What does the mine have to do with that area or is this something to do with the new proposed mine down in the mclatchie area
The groomer should be back in action for friday evening so you should have a decent trail in all the way to cutts's. Dont forget to pay your trail pass.

There is a Cutts cabin AND a Butts cabin. The Cutts cabin is just right at the Y in the road where we all know but Butts cabin is way down by the border. Just keep going south on the Flathead

Can't go into detail, sorry guys.

We found what we were looking for though :) 2 arrested)

Called into Corbin by a sus-caller- Truck heading up the trail at 2am (Tire marks are visable as of yesterday)

Us border patrol take care of the flat head border during winter.

Anyone have any pictures of butts cabin in the winter? Also anyone know of the depth of snow in the valley.

We tried getting to butts cabin by truck through Morrissey to ram creek road but the conservation truck broke down. Snow wasn't as deep as corbin thats for sure!

I'm assuming that you were going to try to get to the Flathead FSR via the LodgePole through Harvey Pass. It is a long way around on the Ram and over Cabin Pass.

I thought I had a picture for you but must of deleted it( I looked through 3000 pictures for ya' but no cigar, sorry). I did find a picture of the border crossing from a few years back.

So was that you guys that drove down the Corbin trail in a truck or was it someone else? Based on the trail condition I can't imagine that would have been fun......

I can tell your on the US side when this picture was taken. If you ever are walking on the USA side and the border patrol come down the road you better run back to the canada side. The americans dont take it lightly and will arrest you.

We hear all the rumors about that and the seizure of sleds. Rumor has it that there are also big fines.

"Sorry officer, I was just going in to show the customs guy my passport."...would that work this day and age?

We used to head down the U.S. side, till we got to Polebridge. We'd buy gas and a 6 pack, and head back. We did stop at customs to report, but there was no one there. That was a long time ago. I sure wouldn't take that chance nowadays.
