Snow in RZR air cleaner

Pulled the air filter today and it was a block of ice. The full winshield even with the rear windshield still cause to much shwriling air and snow in the cab. I'll be switching to a half windshield in the near future they dont seems to cause any shwirling effect. It was also full of sand from my six lakes trip last summer.

Did you put in the dash block off kit in? I have a little swirl, but its not very much, and reduced the snow in the cleaner the most. that made the bigest difference for me. The snow gets kicked up at the front wheels and enters the cab area from under the dash.

i just out in a K&N filter with the "sock" works great. keeps the snow out of the filter and just on the sock. Good investment. I am also going to cut the old sock from my old factory filter and use your idea of velcro and cover the opening. panty hose still lets in the snow. I will let you know now it works. I would go with the half windshield in the summer, but the full one is priceless in the cold.

I just ordered the K&N air filter yesterday on ebay as well. I havent yet ordered the block off kit but i will have bought it and installed it the next time i ride in the snow.:d The full windsheild is priceless when all the snow is hard packed, but the day i was out it was snowing all day and because of the swirling snow a had to hang my head outtta the cab to see so the windshield didnt help much haha. The only thing that kept me warm was my helmet and googles, usually i dont bring my goggles with me.
