I have run both now. Eliminators on my M8 and BB on my D7. I like the Snow Eliminators better because of the tie in to the side of the tunnel just makes me feel a little better about extra support. The other thing and I don't think it's just the Better Boards, but on my Poo, the cut outs raise your foot up in the foot well far enough that now my foot slides off the side of the rail. Also, Backass Racing in Vernon BC makes a good looking set and also had Eliminators in stock last weekend when I was there.

I am guessing it depends on what you are riding. I am fighting to get my store up and running, but as soon as I do I will have a set of stiffners that also allow the removal of tunnel snow. I will be in similar price ranges as the other brands, but when my store is up I will be having a grand opening sale. Probably get you into a set for about $150, and that is powder coated. Right now I have them for XP, Rev, RMK IQ and Edge chasis. Right now they are just in black, but red, yellow, blue is about a week away. Let me know if you are interested and I can post a photo or two.

Can you get them for a 05 King cat preferably black ?
I am tired of kicking the daylights out of my tunnel to clear off the snow and ice.
Pics would be nice.
I have been looking at the WRP and the Snow Eliminators.

Better Boards Flimsy? Not even close! Every single one of our models increases structural integrety. Many far more then others depending on what we have to work with from the brand and model. Number one most popular brand on the planet with over 10 times as many on the snow as all of the others combined. We offer three varieties of heft in each of our 28 independant models. Each model is engineered to work with each particular chassis for maximum strength and performance without sacreficing your safety or your sled's durability. THESE ARE DESIGNED BY PROFESSIONAL MOUNTAIN SNOWMOBILE RIDERS and manufactured in our own factory which is a $5,000,000 a year company with over 40 full time employees. Engineered, tested, and applicated way beyond any other like product on the market. Our stock thickness and version is the industry standard and we have thousands on the snow with well over 2,000,000 ridden miles. Check out the fit and finish of each product on our website at . Nobody even remotely comes close to our quality, performance, worldwide acceptance and availability.

Just had a set of Feet Hookers put on my Summit, hands down the best mod i've done to my sled so far. They offer more support for your running boards, the first 2 cleats near the footwell are pointed at each other for easy removal of your foot from the footwell, the aluminum is thicker than the stock boards and finally, the cleats that run the length of the boards DO NOT stick up above your stock running board frame so your feet don't fall off the sled when your riding in the steep and deep. I purchased a set of xxx-rod boards for my rev and then ordered a set of better boards for a gen 2 that I am building for my kids. I am surprised to see the two of them side by side. They are very similar. Better boards does seem ( to look at ) to be a higher quaility product. I don't think that I will notice the difference between the two products once we are on the mountain. I ordered both of these in black, xxx-rods sent black rivots, better boards sent silver.

If I had looked closer, I would have been more truthful. I had also ordered a vent kit from xxx mod rods. These came with all black rivets and the boards came with black and silver.

The Better Boards came with steel rivets and mod rod boards are aluminum rivets.

Both boards worked extremely well.

I need something for a 2001 rmk 800 and better boards seem to be the only ones that make them for the gen 2

I have the better boards on a gen 2 sled. it was an easy install and they work great. For the Gen 2 chassis the boards go up the sides of the tunnel and really fit well.
