depends on what size of tube u have...... if u have a 2 inch one i wouldn't put anything over the holes....... ur probably close to not enough air already....
For my Renegade, I drilled 2 holes about 1.75 inch diameter on the top of my airbox, and put Frogskinz over them. haven't had any issues so far, but if I do I'll add another hole.
