Smart Start does anybody have it?? How does it work??

Taking my truck in next tuesday to get a smart start put in, so i can turn it on from anywhere and see when the alarm goes off from anywhere i wanted to no if anybody has this and how they like it thanks??????

is that the brand name? i had a drone, which is made by compustar it was good to have once in a while. its based on cell reception so your truck needs to be in range for it to work. but it only worked 60% of the time... they explained that they had only so much server room for all their customers and you would have to log out and log back in for it to work, but it didnt always work. its a good feature to have if someone steals your truck. you can see where it is and let the police know

i now have a small fleet and want to try the titan system, they have more options to choose from and i can track multiple trucks at any given time. they have residential ones but are more geared to commercial use from what i have seen, they have the ability to remote kill the vehicle like onstar in the event of theft. titan also uses patchmap to track trucks on oilfield roads.

ya i just wanna be able to start it when im working all day in spurts so it doesnt sit in -30 all day cold and turned off, im getting the viper smartstart thats the brand

not sure about the smart start but i have the titan and its cool. its nice to be able to checkup on the truck and start it when its cold out, works good when im flying back from work, as i come in to land i hit the button and i have a toasty warm truck when i get to it
