Slydog Powderhounds cut outs?

I have read about people doing cutouts on the slp powder pros and was hoping someone who has done it could help me i currently have a set of slydog powderhounds 8 inch wide and they are too much ski for my pro i find handling went down drastically after installing them. I was thinking the cutout system should have the same effect on these skis as the powder pros.

I believe if u google Carl cut out's something will show up,I have seen thread with pix on Snowest where guy's cut the stock ski.

If they suck why not put the stockers back on? The grippers are great skis.
