Prettyquick to respond there bruh, must be couch riding today haha! Tried a slowbike for a rip today and wished I hadn’t now. Those things are sweet.

it was a big bore on a 500, 620 or something, ripped pretty hard, I didnt get too horny in the bush or anything, but long story short is they turn like a motorcycle, not like trying to twist 600lbs of frozen **** around on tracked out sidehills. I was impressed and look forward to trying it possibly for a whole day ride. Spring trail conditions concern me however, as I cannot afford to hurt myself, and the boys say thats the worst part.

Haha we had a guy in our crew get one last year. We swore we where all gonna get one. Then the deep storms of December/January came. After the first 3' day it was for sale. Buddy also had some pretty funny spills in the trail.

Successful shake down ride around Sylvan Lake yesterday. I am ready for a real ride now Dustin! I am pretty disappointed with my 2013 "belt burner" I had to replace the original belt when I was servicing it. Only got 1100 miles out of it. Probably cracked from old age or I may have cut it taking it off to wash it.
For anyone riding on the lake don't go ripping across on a flat light day. There are some major ice heaves and pressure ridges that would not be fun to hit at high speeds. We found enough snow around the shore line to keep the machines cool but it is thin for coverage.

Meet a newbie sled owner when I was loading up and didn't even have ask how long he had owned his sled. Took all my control to keep my smart arse comments inside since everyone has been there before.
Clue #1
Drives up in a lifted Superduty with wide bald mud tires and parks on the hard pack snow so he does get stuck. (Makes for great traction for a paddle track to load and unload with his 6 foot ramp. /
#2 he walks over and says nice Cats how do they go? Thought I didn't hear him correctly so I said pardon me. He said the same thing again. So I said really well. (Kept in my head with the throttle it is the one on the right hand side). Made some small talk and then he went to unload is sled. I continued to load up.
#3 he had issues with his ramp and hooked the ski under front of his ramp while backing off. Have been there too so I helped him get the sled back in the truck enough to get on the right side of the ramp.
#4 he let the sled warm up in reverse with the beeper going while getting dressed and organized
#5 his teenage son gets on the sled and circles the truck on the hard pack around the outdoor skating rink for maybe 4 minutes and comes back to say the temp light is on. Not surprising
At this point I was ready to head home so I gave him a few tips (not Stats level Dustin) and said have fun. Hopefully they didn't cook the motor after we left.
Fresh snow is current falling in Red Deer, may get and inch or two before it stops.
