Thought bud was lying, But the farther west on 53 the better it gets, ditches have 3 feet snow, Looks like sledders heaven, may be gone in a day or two, bud n i will have to rip it up. Hopefully not to much open water

Fishing yesterday at upper Elk Lakes provincial park at elevations of 1735m/5692'. A little snow on the ground in the shaded places but otherwise a beautiful day for October 5th. Fished with no shirt on (sorry pic) and found some awesome reflections. Basically, no snow even on the peaks at 9000'+. It will be awhile yet guys!

great pics, looks like they have "need sled repairs " written all over them.

catch anything? or did the half naked reflection cause them to move away? ha!

Shore line is too shallow to fish in this lake. We hike another 1.5 km to a smaller lake that has nice cutt throat in it. Caught our limit and had fish for breakfast.

No sledding in the park nor any ATV's. Just foot power and it is interesting that after the lower campground, there are no pedal bikes allowed.
