im not too sure. if you want a gaurenteed good ride try heading up somewhere around janurary or so.

Same time 2008 -37C midday. The bit of snow that was there was so hardpacked coulda rode a quad to the top of any peak beyond the warm-up shack. My first 5 day trip to Vale was shortened by 4 days. 18 hours on the road and the best snow was back here on the flatland. Went crazy in 8 inches of pow. Would post pics, but it's too depressing. Maybe next time.

i remember that year, all of december was -40 that sucked, but the sleds ran great !
