For anyone who wishes to join up.

I will be sledding Sicamous Tuesday and Wednesday, this week.
Though i do sled this area regularly, including Eagles and Revy if no other plans are in place, generally weekends.

In February, 11,12 will be in Mcbride.

In March, no dates yet but heading towards the Koots, my partner is off for the season from a motorcycle accident in July and my other partner is off cause of knee surgery, so KB and i are solo. Looking at Cranbrook or Fernie areas.
It would be appreciated if someone could recommend some areas as i have never ventured into this area sledding.

In April 19-22, will be at the Pemberton Icefields, dates also pending, depending on weather.

I was hoping a day in Valemount but plans changed slightly and had to cut a day out so it will most likely be Renshaw on those day's unless i can talk my riding partner to take a road trip a little farther south for one day.

Hey Dan, we can make it happen. KB would love to ride with Jes again.
The earliest we have free is Feb 23/24 or March 2/3, both are weekends. KB is otherwise working on a couple of weekends in Feb. and we will be on the road with the sleds.
Let me know so i make no plans.

Excellent post. What is your Pemberton plans?

Pemberton is tricky because you need to ride when the sky's are descent. I generally watch the weather and if we get a window of a few days i jump on it.
It could be any week's in April, its just one of those unknown till we get closer to April and then watch what happen's.

544kmTakes exactly six hours Sicamousto Fernie with good roads and no traffic issues or stops. I do it routinely. Golden to hi way 3 can be bad for wildlife.

It’s a rough one at dusk sometimes. Hundreds of deer and sometimes elk. The worst though is the weekend Radium crowd who switch their BMW’s into snow mode and instantly become morons.

Well guy's i have a fractured elbow and a swollen wrist and won't be sledding for a while.
The sucky part is...i don't even have an exciting story to tell on how i might had been climbing a chute or sidehilling a wall or any of that on a sled...darn.
It happened at work.:stretcher:
