Hey me and a friend are planning on going on a sledding trip with our dads. We dont have much mountain riding experience (we all went to crowfoot mountain near sicamous last year) and we dont have big mountain sleds. Ive been looking at crowsnest pass to go there but im not sure yet. We dont want extreme mountains or huge climbs or anything just open powder bowls and open meadows with easy access. Any ideas of where to go?we live in eastern ab and would like to go around the bc alberta border or somewhere around there. Thanx

fernnie is excellent for new riders, lots of rolling hills trees etc. you have lots of relatively safer terrain, or hills if ya like. get a hold of fernie on the site as he can steer you to riding areas in your comfort range.

and to boot he is one of the best ambassadors to the area.
