Isnt that the town that everyone left when the mine closed? I have a buddy that owned a car wash up there. He said houses were going for a few thousand bucks at the time. Is it a fully functioning town now again?

i'm just a member of both sites, in fact even more sites, but post and use these 2 quite a bit. not really a fair comparison to make for this site that is much older and thus has a nice big member base, to be compared to a site that is only just over a year old with 1/5 to 1/4 the numbers!!!!!!!!!! this site started out tiny too. and really, for the most part, there is no need for either one to feel threatened by the other, plain and simple. yet some peeps do get wound up about it apparently

haha.... ya, back up and running.
realestate is climbing well and the mines are going and growing.... couple more coming in and oil and gas side really ramping up.

the town is estimating and preparing for a tripple in population in the next 3 or 4 years.

time to move again........

Hard to make the distinction with so many green and white plates here LOL

Honestly we hardly think the two provinces are different...I have crews in both most days...Suffield Block-127kms, Bigstick (N of Maple Creek) 118kms...

Nice hub to work both provinces out of, but would sure be nice to see some more gas drilling here again. Doubt we will see that for many years though...
