Ya its obviously not for everyone in the mountains or else they would still be offering it in North America. But when you go from a Sidewinder to 2 stroke it just seems boring. Hold the go paddle to the bar and just slowly chug along.

it may not be the overall weight of the sidewinder that makes it feel heavy. It could be that the majority of the weight is up front, and that's a problem for most the way it nose dives so hard

This is actually very accurate they simply don’t float as well in the ultra deep snow as the 800/850’s. I remember I was able to drop like 27-30lbs with a straight pipe and a lightweight battery add the tune and lockout shock and it was a blast . But your still 620ish the problem I found with it was you rode differently when your tired and afraid to get stuck I hated having the big 4 strokes upside down 850 not so much going over. I loved the winder but it’s hard not to have fun on today’s 2 strokes. Now if down the road I find someone giving away one with an mcxpress kit on it will be a very tempting back up

If I recall, back in the day it was said that it took 7lbs of weight loss to equal 1hp. Someone do the math on that and you’ll have some answers.

yamahas, they build a lot more torque than a 2 stroke, basically double. Not really a fair comparison in my opinion.

A Turbo Doo makes 165 HP at elevation (lets say 6,000 ft for Revy) means that the Polaris is making roughly 135 HP, or 30HP less.

By using the logic above, that would mean the Polaris would need to drop 210 LBS to be equivalent to a boosted Doo..... 340 Lb Pro anyone? haha
