sled trailer maintenace

so its about time we work on our sled trailer we have a 23" enclosed interstate trailer.

Bf has left me with trying to find the best stuff to do the job (thanks hun ) hahah

so outside metal is rusted pretty bad.. so any recommendations on what to use after we sand it all down?

Also the wooden floor was painted and looks like ch!t.. we do have superglides in there but need something to at least keep the floor somewhat in good shape.. recommendations?

Take some pics and put them up....

remove the wheels and check brakes for wear and proper function, as well as the wheel bearings for wear and regrease them if they don't have excessive play. then remove all lights after checking they are all functioning, apply dilectric grease to all connections and re-install. check breakaway battery for charge, replace if necessary.

I would rather have a rusty trailer with a bad floor that was in safe operating condition than one with a pretty interior/exterior with no brakes or lights....

Bf already checked all that, we've moved onto "prettying" it up.

But i will take pics.
