I love hot yoga, just hate the attitude a lot of "yogi's" have. Great work out, unbelievably hard. I think kick boxing's actually easier! Although yesterday I had my butt kicked, even bled! Feeling it today.
I call BS on that! Cures aches and pains?!?!?! You must be doing a different kind of yoga than i see pictures of. If i tried half that crap i wouldnt have to worry about the riding season cause id be laid up in the hospital!!!
Sent while not working too hard

I'm not a huge fan of a lot of them myself, but I go there for myself only and not to associate with others. I guess some may stereotype me as one of those treehugging granola-eating hippies but truth is i'm not even a fraction of what those people are like.. I do agree with alot of their beliefs and values but as far as praciticing it not even close.. lol. Yes I do believe in eating and praciticing clean, natural ways of living but in this day in age its far too difficult for the average joe to live that way.. I do the best I can anyway. Yoga is one of those 'natural' remedies that has been around for thousands of years.. pumping iron in a gym hasn't and there's a reason why professional weight trainers have signifcantly shorter lifespans then the average person that does regular physical activity.
Yes it is extremely hard, I've been practicing Moksha now for about 4 years and I still haven't mastered it all ..but I know it sure does make me feel great and I do love the results when I am practicing regularily. I love the challenge though, and just like anything else.. hard work and dedication pays off. Unfortunately I have a hard time going in the summer when its already scorching hot outside so I usually participate in yoga in Fall to spring, then I jog in the warmer months. I do have a home gym set up in my basement too that I use occasionally, eliptical, treadmil, weights, yoga ball, P90X, etc that I especially use when its too miserable and cold out to even bother driving to yoga classes, or when its rainy and crappy outside in the summer LOL.
Kickboxing is definitely something I'd love to try sometime! Its on the bucket-list for sure.
I lovingly hate you in jealousy right now !!! RIP IT HARDDD! and PICTURES PLEASE! eeee BRAAAAAAP
cant u tell i have the itch just a little? ahahha
Haha!! Don't hate me too much... Turns out snorkeling should have been part of my pre-season fitness training: it rained sideways pretty much ALL day. Approximately 60kms if pure swimming!! Good day for breaking in belts and new machines and hooking up with our sledding buddies. It wasn't epic, but it was a day we will never forget, and isn't that what it is all about
So after 8 months, there must be some serious hard bodies here???
