Anyone know the type of plastic the side panels off a Polaris Pro are made of? Looking to plastic weld a crack and need to know the exact type of plastic to match. Thanks.

If you have some different plastic laying around you could test it and see which one works. I was told by a plastic welder to take whatever your using as a welding rod and weld the end to your panel (inside ;)). Doesn't have to be a long weld. Once it cools, you shouldn't be able to pull it off. If it comes off easy, it's the wrong type of plastic. He also showed me that different plastics burn differently. The smoke can be different and the smell. I hung onto the pieces that I cut out for venting just for this. You can also buy an assortment of plastic welding rods pretty cheap on ebay.

I used this 2 part epoxy. Comes with both parts in tube with mixing nozzles. You need a caulking gun to dispense. You can get it in different curing times. Just roughen the surface and dispense glue.

what year of pro? You can probably get all the plastics from a wrecked one for cheapy cheapy. New side panels are only $80, probably pick them up for 1/2 that on a wrecker.
