Put my 2015 Summit 800 X away for summer. Unhooked the battery and connected solar trickle charger. When I took it out of storage this fall there was no juice in battery (or I assumed). Charged and reconditioned the battery and put it back on the sled. Sled started and i ran it for a good 15-20 min. Left the sled in the trailer for 2 weeks. Went out to start it yesterday and all I got was a TIC TIC TIC!!!! Took the battery to dealer and he charged it and took load test pre and post charging. 90% pre and 100% post!! I'm thinking starter solenoid? It is on warranty but just wondering what you guys think? Has anyone ever had luck getting battery on warranty? Dealer is saying BRP wont warranty batteries after first season.

I had same issue the other day after charging the battery. Fooled around for awhile then checked both fuses above solenoid. The 5 amp one was pooched. Replaced it and it started right up.

Just ticks? Doesn't try and turn over really slowly? I've seen a bad motor ground once and it acted like a bad battery and or starter moto. This was on a 14 xm. Try putting a booster battery on the sled?

It was the battery. Dealer said Ski doo is replacing on warranty. Nice to see.

Sometimes the post gets broke down below the plastic. To much tree rubbing :chainsaw:
