I'm with allstate and sled rates are decent. 20 hardcore is $630 full coverage, book value locked in at $19k. collision is around $400 of it.

But all the rest of my insurance got jacked up this year so I'm shopping around now.

I just switched mine to Drayden. With the ASA discount my 19 Summit is $593 full coverage and guaranteed replacement value for 1 more year, my 15 Summit with PLPD, F&T no collision is $106. Quotes from other companies have been coming in as high as $1100 just for the 19.

Yes this is the best way to go if your in Alberta. But you must by an ASA trail pass to take part in this deal. My 2017 G4 Full coverage is $558.00 and this is separated from my personal auto policy. This is important folks, if your sled is part of your auto policy and you have to make a claim on your toys, this will affect your auto rates. The ASA policy also has waiver of depreciation (SEF 43r) for 24 months on a new purchace, you tell me what other policy's have that on toys.

The majority of insurers in Alberta have increased there rates. Allstate offers a decent policy for property and treats there customers relatively good.

So allstate won't let you depreciate the sleds value as it depreciates?

AMA told me they are putting a stop to this, this year.
Insure for list price and that's that.

Why would I insure something for more than it's worth?

Full coverage on my new Polaris Indy $605 ($2 million/comprehensive/collision). Blue Circle has been great to deal with for motorcycles and now this new snow machine. Will probably drop collision in a year or two and cut $200 off the bill.

My renewal came in the mail today. $415 for the whole package and depreciation coverage. Very happy with this. I do have two motorcycles on the same policy so that helps.

Well interetsing thing in SK is you cant get SGI coverage on your sled besides what the plate covers. Which is just liability insurance of 200k I think. We also need a plate/registration to ride on any groomed trails, a % of the plate/registration fees goes to the grooming programs throughout the province.

To get extra insurance for your sled, (fire, theft, vandalism, collision) you have to go through Oasis/Got Toys. I have heard of Cooperators insuring sleds but cannot confirm this.

My XM was around 800 to insure with collision, and 250 for just fire and theft.
My Sidewinder was 1300 with collision, or 300 for fire and theft.

Neither of those prices include plate/registration.

The other goofy thing about sask is.. when you have to make a claim on your sled, you call oasis/got toys to make the claim, but then you take it to an SGI claims office to have it assessed and decide whether or not it will be wrote off.

My sleds are both through SGI canada for the package policies... Its still about $550 for my 18 Pro X sb and around the same for the kids 19 Evo 550. Again about $350 of each of those is the collision aspect of it all. I have checked a few other places with very similar rates.... I am going to go check out Allstate now and see if that is even an option in Sask.

As for the Plates it ended up about $180 per sled this year and I was told $100 of that $180 went to the SSA to distribute to the clubs. How much they each get I couldn't tell you but it sure starts to add up when you start to plate and insure a family of sleds, a truck, and a trailer to haul them all.

Allstate wanted a crazy amount for my sleds, actually come to think of it after they asked if I ride mountains I don't think the would insure me. Went with Nordic for 5 hundy for 2 machines. I have 2 quads, two trailers (sled and travel trailer), the dirtymax, the kids car and the house with Allstate. The Street Glide and the sleds are separate, Legends was the best i could find for the Harley and Nordic for the sled, both through brokers at intact

Looking for a price check on insurance for a 2022 summit x turbo.

AMA quoted $715 for full coverage. $2mil liability, $500 comprehensive deductible and $1000 collision deductible.

Is this in the ballpark?

Less than what I'm paying on my 20 Cats.

Anyone insure through Capri and get the BCSF discount? Curious as to what people are paying. Full coverage on my alpha last year was around $700.

Im through the ASA with Drayden - Written by Intact. $385 Full coverage on 2021 850 Turbo, 2 mil liability, all perils. inc collision, Waiver of Depreciation for 24 months, $500 Dollar Deductible.
Oh wow.
That's not bad.
Do they want you to insure everything with them or will they do just the sled?

That's a hell of a good price. Most are in that ballpark without collision and $1000 deductible here in SK.
