I’m in need of a new coat and some goggles, maybe a pair of gloves. Just wondering where south of red deer a guy can find a place with decent selection for these things. Not really brand loyal but I currently have Klim bibs and gloves which so far have held up pretty good.

Tobe gloves for sure, love mine

And every single person that bought them at mountain park said the same

Including mike-otis-danno

Coat, well I guess Tobe too, my motor fist has been good to tho

Goggles, they all suck now, but the zeal ones seemed good compared to the others, as built better

I’m gonna try 509 giggles first and see how they fit my helmet. Looking for something good in the flat light.

Coats I’m gonna try on to see what I like best. Just need to find a store or two with good selection. Not just all Klim and a couple motorfist. Or all tobe and no Klim. Etc.

It's worth sanity checking prices against Fort Nine before you buy. If the store's price beat's Fort, then it's probably a solid price.
I find fortnine is on the high side?

I have found that fortnine is cheaper 80 percent of the time. And there returns is great and free shipping, also they have things you think they wouldn't

I think their regular prices are bad, regular MSRP prices. But a lot of stuff is on sale endlessly, so the sale prices are decent.

I ended up with an extra pair of Oakley Inferno goggles, like 2 sets, if your interested.

What colour lenses and style Mike?

Checked out some gear at CW Red Deer. Tried on a bunch of Klim, FXR, and Motorfist stuff and I think I’ve decided I’m not really into another shell as every time I layer I dick it up and either end up packing a shirt around in my bag all day and halfway down the mountain wish I had put it on or find out 5 min from the truck I shorted myself and freeze all day. Or my shell is either too big or not big enough for the extra clothes.

I’m going to go back to a coat with an insulated removable inner liner like I used to wear. I found an FXR one I really like and fit the best. Need to try some Tobe stuff first though and a couple different Klim they didn’t have in stock before I decide. Might snoop around Calgary a bit on the way home tomorrow.

The motor fist jacket I have has the thin extra insulation, only spring days it's a bit warm, but open it up a bit and it's good

Recon is the jacket version

The lenses are rose. They are the Inferno heated goggles and that's the only color lens available for them.

That's not true as far as color goes. I have two pair of the Infernos and two different colours. I don't know what the color of the ones on the left is called. The one on the right has the Prism Rose.
