Sled detailing

With the season done it’s time to grease and clean my sled before I put it away.

What is everyone using to get the black residue off of side panels tunnel hood etc.

I know each OEM offers something but C tire NAPA Greg’s or ???
Should carry the equivalent at a better price.

wash with spray 9
wax with pledge. i like the lemon kind

You can clean sleds? I usually clean the soot off by running it through some balsam branches and then get the sap off by changing the panel after I smash it.

This schtuff, still cant belive what it will take off, puts brake clean to shame on oils, specially heated.

Even takes rootbeer schnapps blended with cat tails off the pipe of your sled

They have a dealer network similar to Amsoil, I usually buy the stuff at the sled shows, I'll see if I can track down the Edmonton reps card.

I've used industrial degreaser from PA. I was very impressed. The stuff I have is blue, I see now it's pink. Hopefully they didn't mess with a good thing.

Cant seem to find the guys number I bought from at the sled show, but these businesses are listed on sledbrite's website as retail locations. They should be able to point you in the right direction if they dont have stock.

Fast Orange with the grit in it on a damp rag works well.
