Does anyone know what the noticable difference`s between a Marathon and a Titan deck? Other than the decals.

QUALITY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had other decks and were not happy at all with them

We now have 2 - 7' Marathon Decks with optional sled extentions and can not be happier...

1 - Well built - solid
2 - Extending ramps 7' deck = 10' ramp or 8' deck = 12' ramp
3 - Can load 2 Summit 151 Sleds with the extentions and thats 8'6" of deck with no lug bending or pressure
3 - Can load 2 CanAM 800s quads on the 7' deck and the deck does not move around (solid). And not afraid of the ramp collapsing.
4 - Ramp stores nicely up under the deck for lots of room in the box for gear.
5 - The ramp can be pulled out and setup by one person easily
6 - The slide out sides are easy to extend and collapse when not used by one person

Stop by and see Jay at Marathon Decks and see the difference your self...

I just picked up a used Marathon and am Very happy with the service and assistance I received from Jay @ Marathon. I would highly recommend buying locally, go in or phone Marathon and you will find out how great they are to deal with

Marathon Lite comes with an 11′ folding ramp (5′ 9″ when folded) as well as Marathon’s standard LED lighting package/OEM wiring harness, 8′6″ max-width extend-able sides, bent tube headache rack, and is available in 7′ or 8′ length. They’ve even provided cut-outs in the extend-able sides for the addition of Superclamp hooks. (Superclamps not included) and they’ve spaced the ramp rungs for future application of Superglides.

Basically then these are the differences in a nut shell.

1) No superclamps or deck hooks mounted

2) Less complicated headache rack

3) Mig instead of tig welding

4) Folding instead of telescopic ramp

5) No superglides

6) Different bobtail

7) Rear legs

We have pictures up on our website as well in the gallery section

Hope that answers your question! If you are interested in one please pm us and we can work out a good deal for you.

there is no comparison.... A marathon is way, way better built. I just bought a titan, and it will do for me hauling quads, but if i used it everyday, i would have to question the durability of the unit.... If your looking for a cheap deck, then the titan is the way to go....... If you want to see mine on my truck, you're always welcome to venture out to see it.....

I have a older Marathon and had it mounted year round in two trucks, as did the previous owner who I bought the deck from, and I believe that if it was some no name knock off it would be in the scrap metal bin by now!!! When I go to the sled shows I pay close attention to the decks and my opinion is the Marathons have the best fit and finish out there!!!!
