I bolt my deck to the box for one reason. My insurance company (SGI) considers the deck part of the truck when bolted to it, so in a wreck, the deck is covered by the package policy on the truck. If strapped or turn-buckled in, it isn't and requires it's own insurance.

Look into a place that sells end dump semi trailers. They're often lined with plastic that is 1/2" thick. Will definitely need to get it coated with something, it's designed to be slippery. The plastic is white as well so underneath will be brighter if you have underdeck lighting. For turnbuckles I went to princess auto, took my measurement and ran the largest one I could find with a locking nut.

Side note, if you want to get insurance on your deck in a crash. Bolt the deck to your truck then it's classified as a "permanent" attachment and should be covered under your existing truck insurance.

Mines bolted thru box on the rears and heavy 4 inch ratchet straps in the front , that way for the last 4 trucks and 20 years , no issues . I use 1/2 inch oak plywood , no ski guides , with a paint on sealer , usually reapply sealer every couple years. Lasts for years , stays out of sun and rain in off season. I find the plastic decking way to slippery to move around on , plus i'm clumsy.

When I redid my deck last year used 5/8 marine grade plywood. (Windsor Plywood or Nelson Lumber)Has more layers and better grade waterproof glue in the plys.
Before putting the plywood in place all sides and edges given a coat of water born epoxy-color to your liking.
(Sherwin Williams or Color Your World)
After the plywood is on another coat of paint and a heavy sprinkle of traction sand (Sand in bottles at Rona)while paint is wet. Once paint is dry one more coat over the sand. If more sand needed just paint and add more sand. One coat MUST cover sand or it will roll off. If you have a painted deck or veranda this is awesome for nonslip in the winter! My front veranda has lasted 7 years and still like new-wood steps showing some wear.
Now the super glides go on. Super glides 1/4" past wood for longer wear before plywood gets beat by carbides. Plywood 1/8" past aluminum deck for same reason.
A non slip deck that will last way more than 5 years.

Not cheap but will last.

Has anyone had any luck finding this infiniboard that M-line uses? I've tried to get in contact with them to purchase some but haven't been getting any response. I would like to get composite in black for my deck rebuild.

You call or email? I emailed them and they called me the next day. $850 for 3 pieces to redo my X-Deck. Call them, wicked stuff!

Our Mirage trailer has this on the floor and door it is amazing, no need for SuperGlides and somehow is not slippery.

NuPoly QuadFloor

You should be able to buy it direct from Mirage or their dealer Bar T5 Trailers North Inc.

For anyone in southern AB I just found out you can get this at Lethbridge Truck Equipment. Southland Trailers is a dealer for it but LTE handles all their parts...about $170 for a 4x8 sheet 3/4”. The deck I just bought has this but I need to replace it on the slide outs, with superglides on as well it should work good.

I’ve got the nu poly in my trailer for 4 yrs and been great it would work well on deck surface also. Personally I’d try to add more stringers and put a composite decking material with superglides installed. Or just buy a truck boss deck, you’ll never have to replace the surface.

I have a truck boss that will be going up for sale. Very nice deck but I need something I can get in and out in 10-15 min.
