So dropping my deck off on Saturday to get modifyed and repaired after pulling all the lights and wiring out and still don't know if I want to powder coat or rock guard.

Sure wish some with rock guarding done would pipe up and give their opinion on it. I don't really want to drop a pile of money on it if it doesn't hold up. I would like to think done and prepped properly it would be every bit as good as PC but my experience with it on Aluminum hasn't been great in the past.

Just go with someone who offers life time warranty on the rock guard. Does Line-X do that anymore for lifetime warranty?

My only concern with the rock guard is that it's going to hold snow and sand and dirt and crap just like it does in your box. And it will drop down onto your truck and the rock guard will look grey if you drive any gravel.

I went with powder because its use it's so easy to clean, I did a textured black so it kind of looks like rock guard but it all just wipes off and cleans up really easily.
