The point is The RCMP officer said that the brakes can't handle it, but my brakes sure seem to stop with plenty of room, since I drove my truck like it was a loaded vehicle and gave myself adecuate following space. I was just trying to get my point accross about how the RCMP was being narrow minded talking about stopping distance.
