Pickup my new f150 on Monday. Can I put a sled deck on it?
Yep, all can agree the deck is fine. Just not sure how many sleds you can put on that deck though.

80 lbs to spare on the rear axle....

You got it.

group 2 is that the rear axle ?

That is correct.

So I don't know why anyone would put 2 sleds on a truck like mine...I know I won't be.

Over the rear axle I have:
1 x 2014 Skidoo 800 154
1 x 2010 Crosstrax sled deck
1 x Cross track extension piece
Chains, tools, gear bag, avy bag, oil, washer fluid, spare sled parts and the truck and sled are both full of fuel.

What's the tensile strength of an aluminum box floor vs a steel box floor?

No snow on the truck, under the truck, in the skids of the sleds. Wet snow and ice can add a surprising amount to the weight....but whatever......just another keyboard warrior here. At least the attempt was made to get some accurate data.

Just a Dick.....

Yuppers.

Look at gvwr and X's by 7 is what my boss told me.

Numbers are over rated any-who, just load and go as no ones looking once the sun goes down. LOL

Boxes are good, most of us still play with them today, Ha.

Today I added 5000 lb air bags too my Ford F-150 that has gvwr of 1630 lbs, and I get an allowance of 1100 lbs since I have a class 1.

So this allows me too pack 7730 lbs if the printing on the box "made in China" that the air bags came in is correct. LOL.

Looks like my Ford F-150 can pack another Ford F-150 with 2 sleds on a aluminum deck.

Who-Da thunk. LOL
